Marvel Comics has announced that a new series, Weapon X-Men, by Joe Casey and Criss Kross will begin in February. Issue #1 first hit comic book stores on February 19th and featured the team of Cable, Deadpool, Wolverine, Chamber, and Thunderbird. The team’s first mission is against Doctor Doom in the “One World Under Doom” storyline.
“When we pitched this series over a year ago, we knew it was going to be big…but we wanted to write a brand new, awesome super team of top-level marquee mutants, and this series… “The modern Marvel Universe has turned out to be more fun than I ever dreamed,” Casey said.
