November additions to PlayStation Plus games catalog include ‘GTA V (again)’ and ‘Dying Light 2’

Sony has revealed the latest additions to the PlayStation Plus game catalog for Extra and Premium members. We have a very solid lineup this month. The biggest name, of course, is Grand Theft Auto V. The game is back in the games catalog after being removed by Sony in June. GTA V has now sold over 205 million copies (not a typo). If you’re not yet interested in the game or its ever-popular online mode, now’s your chance. Meanwhile, GTA VI is scheduled to arrive next fall.

If you’re playing all of GTA in the meantime, there are plenty of other additions to PS Plus that you might want to check out. One of them is Dying Light 2: Stay Human, an open-world zombie survival action RPG that I’ve been wanting to check out for a long time. Like A Dragon: Ishin (coincidentally ending Game Pass this month) and Chivalry 2 are some of the other big names on the list, but I’m especially happy to see Overcooked! Please use it.

This is a great bundle that includes both the Overcooked game and all the expansions. For years, I’ve called these games the perfect relationship test. Just, well, if you’re in a bad situation, stop playing with your partner.

Others include The Sims 4 expansion pack Island Living. Naturally, you’ll need a free-to-play game to access this. Moto GP 24, Digimon Survive, Stick Fight: The Game, Crash: Artifact of Chaos, Interesting Killer Frequency, and Hungry Shark World round out the Extra Tier newcomers in the PS Plus games catalog.

I’m really looking forward to the premium lineup this month. I spent hours playing Resistance: Fall of Man’s multiplayer mode back in the PS3 days. Insomniac Games has had an incredible run over the past six years. So it should be fun to go back to that game and its sequel, Resistance 2, for a nostalgic hit and see how far the studio has come. However, please note that these two games are streaming only.

You can warm up by playing Blood Omens: Legacy of Kain and Blood Omens 2 ahead of next month’s Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered. Last but not least, there’s one PS VR2 addition to the lineup. Action shooting game “Synapse”. PS Plus Premium and Extra subscribers will be able to play these games at no additional cost starting November 19th.
