Apple’s even smaller Mac mini is now available with M4 power. It’s also more affordable and better value than ever before. You won’t be shocked to hear that the M4 Pro is extremely fast, but the Mac mini also comes standard with 16 gigs of RAM.

The base Mac mini has an M4 chip with a 10-core CPU (4 high-performance cores and 6 high-efficiency cores), a 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. For $1,399, you can upgrade to the dramatically more powerful M4 Pro chip (similar to our review unit) with a 14-core CPU (10 high-performance and 4 high-efficiency) and a 20-core GPU. (But it’s an expensive upgrade.)
