The next morning: Our verdict on the PS5 Pro

Sony’s new beastly console is a niche product for PlayStation gamers looking for the most premium experience. The PlayStation 5 Pro is a console comparable to the iPhone Pro Max and Kindle Signature, but it’s still cheaper than PC gaming consoles. It features a more powerful GPU capable of delivering 4K and 60 fps gaming, an AI upscaler to polish textures, new ray tracing, and ample 2TB SSD to store all your games. (There’s no disc drive, though.) And as you’ll read in our full review, the PS5’s back catalog is better than ever.

There’s a good argument for not buying a PlayStation 5 Pro. This is a souped-up mid-cycle console with basic performance for $700. But if you haven’t jumped on the PS5 bandwagon yet, it offers a solid experience without compromise.

Google accidentally leaks preview of Jarvis AI that can take over computers

It only appeared for a moment.

Google’s new AI prototype just happened to be publicly available through the Chrome Web Store. However, they are a little different from the Siris, Alexa, and Gemini of this world. The store page describes the Jarvis prototype as a “useful web-surfing companion” that uses a web browser to handle common tasks like buying groceries, booking flights, and researching topics. I’m doing it. Google’s new AI can operate your browser on your behalf and complete these simple tasks without manual human input.
