If you haven’t somehow heard yet, EC Comics is back from the dead and has been releasing horror and sci-fi themed anthology comics since the beginning of this year. According to Comic Hub data, the line has been extremely successful, returning Oni Press to the top 10 on the Comic Store Market sales charts. It accomplished this by not only resting on its Tales From laurels, but also by re-establishing the line. Crypto as a brand.

For those who love the overall feel of The Nightmare Before Christmas, combining horror and the holiday season, SHIVER SUSPENSTORIES #1 will be right up your alley. Consisting of 56 pages of shocking short stories, this behemoth-sized EC one-shot is a playful wrap-up of what may or may not be leaking something strange under the Christmas tree. Featuring stories of horror, science fiction, and powerful suspense in one package.

Below is a preview of Ghost in the Machine by Edgar Award-winning author Ben H. Winters (The Last Cop) and acclaimed artist Peter Krauss (Irredeemable).

and on Dec. 11, Jason Aaron (“Absolute Superman”), George Northey (The CW’s “Charmed”), Jay Stevens (“The Dwelling”), Ben H. Winters (CBS’ “Tracker”), artists Valeria Barzo (Castle Full of Blackbirds), Kano (Gotham Central), Peter Krause (Irredeemable), David Lapham (Stray Bullet), and Caitlin Yarsky (Black Hammer Reborn) in their first EC Comics Celebrate the holiday season with our creations. -An ode to the destruction of Christmas so far.

The comic features artists Darick Robertson (The Boys), Adam Hughes (Wonder Woman), Jay Stevens (The Dwelling), and Ryan Hughes (Batman: Black and There are also covers by “SHIVER SUSPENSTORIES #1” covered in blood. A holiday item that’s sure to add something shocking to your stocking. And, as an added holiday bonus, this triple-sized EC melee features newly restored EC classics by comic book legend Johnny Craig straight from the Vault of Horror.
