Marvel Comics has revealed that the Ultimate Series comics will receive a foil treatment with issue #13 in 2025. Issue #13 of “Ultimate Spider-Man,” “Ultimate Black Panther,” “Ultimate X-Men,” and “Ultimate” will be given a one-year foil treatment. VARIANT COVER by renowned cover artist and Pixar animator Benjamin Hsu.
Watch as Spidey becomes the prey as Kraven embarks on the ultimate hunt, and Black Panther risks his soul to gain the aid of the mysterious Sorcerer Supreme in the war between Wakanda and Moon Knight.

NEW YORK, NY — October 24, 2024 — At the beginning of the year, Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checketto created Marvel Comics with Ultimate Spider-Man #1, a visionary take on Marvel’s most iconic character that set the standard. We have started a new Ultimate Series. Covers the first wave of Ultimate titles such as Ultimate Black Panther, Ultimate X-Men, and Ultimate. Each series captivates readers’ imaginations, and to celebrate a year of extraordinary storytelling, issue #13 of Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate Black Panther, Ultimate X-Men, and Ultimates features a year of acclaimed cover artists. Consecutive issues of Ultimate titles will be communicated in real time every other month. The annual foil cover shows them facing their biggest challenge yet. .
