Clover Press has announced the publication of “The Marvel Art of Michael Allred,” the latest boutique art book in the “The Marvel Art of…” series. This art book features 30 years of Michael Allred’s legacy, from X-STATIX to Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer, and includes never-before-seen rare art, behind-the-scenes material, Includes a foreword by Dan Slott and an afterword by Matt. Fraction, all red explanation.

“Everything I’ve done at Marvel has cemented blissful memories and epic collaborations and friendships with people like Peter Milligan, Matt Fraction, and Dan Slott. ‘s beloved colorist Laura Allred put the icing on the cake,” said Allred. “Playing with iconic Marvel Comics characters such as the Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange, as well as my own creations such as Zeitgeist, Mr. Sensitive, and Doop, has inspired my creative dreams. We will make it happen one after another.”

Laura Allred, a colorist and Allred’s partner, said she had to pinch herself to learn that she would be able to work so closely with her partner in bringing his artwork and storytelling to life. revealed. She went on to say that being in the world of Marvel Comics is like “spending time with the best friends of my life.”

“It’s so rewarding to be able to tap into their amazing history and give them our own interpretation based on that past,” she said. “And now I’m thrilled to see so many of my favorite images gathered together in this big, beautiful package!”

The Kickstarter campaign has also been launched for a 200 page, approximately 9” x 12” hardcover art book. The campaign includes a reversible dust jacket cover and three-way back case. Certain tiers include perks like three portfolio sets with 12 high-quality prints and Kickstarter exclusives including stickers, 1000-piece puzzles, trading cards, and head sketches.
