Amina
We all know Amina as gorgeous, glamorous and charming. The granddaughter of one of the great beauties of Hollywood’s first golden age, Amina was left to a life of “benign neglect” as a child, wandering the seedy streets of Hollywood Boulevard with friends of her own descent, spending most of her time wandering the seedy streets of Hollywood Boulevard. I spent a lot of time there. In the early 1960s, she was invited to the 1700 block of North Crescent Heights Boulevard. It was a notorious party house where artists, actors, musicians, and beautiful people gathered for wild parties. Since then, she’s never looked back, amassing a truly iconic Rolodex of stars you know to always call Amina when they get to LA.
Vera Vicious
Vera would like to be thought of as a tough street urchin turned party girl, but the boring truth is that she grew up in the lap of luxury, beloved by an attentive family in the Hollywood Hills. But Bella’s desire for excitement was never satisfied by following the easy path laid out for her. Bella wants it all, and she wants it now. Hard-edged and spiky, this self-proclaimed groupie queen is full of intense, magnetic energy. Her courage often makes her the de facto leader of the group when she’s not fighting with her friends over guys or doing anything nasty. Vera’s heavy makeup and bleached blonde hair give her a protopunk vibe. This is perfectly appropriate since she is always ahead of the curve when it comes to music and fashion. She adores Amina and considers her to be the epitome of effortless cool, who seems to sacrifice more than she would like to admit.
lisa storm
In contrast to her friend Vera, Lisa is kind and soft-spoken. She’s a bit naive, but not without tricks. She perfectly understands how her sometimes histrionic innocence affects the men around her. Under the guidance of Amina and Vera, Lisa is deep into the party scene. She loves herself when she’s with the girls. Unfortunately, she has a hard time living up to the most important groupie maxim, “never fall in love,” and broken hearts are almost always her bed buddies. Lisa is introduced to the rock and roll life by Bella, with whom she shares a strangely competitive yet protective dynamic. It can be tough on both sides when they are after the same man, but Bella is protective of Lisa due to her youth and naivety. At the same time, Lisa can suddenly become violent when faced with Bella’s slightest judgments. Her friends sometimes suffer even in a tolerant world.
Gaia and Morgaine
Gaia and Morgaine appear as a pair, inseparable best friends and superstitious witches. They have in common a naive sexuality, a cold attitude, and an unwillingness to make big decisions without a prior tarot reading. Unlike other groups born out of Hollywood’s seedy underworld, Gaia and Morgaine immigrated to Los Angeles from Philadelphia. The city’s doo-wop, the epicenter of rock’n’roll when they were kids, has now gone out of fashion, and the two find themselves in the center of the action, living out their hippie dreams in the eternal California sunshine. I decided to do so.
Gaia is surrounded by signs and omens. She is an expert in tarot reading and feels a deep spiritual connection to the cards. She pursues beauty and values connection above all else. She is confident and comfortable with the hypnotic glare she brings to events. Her deepest connection is with Morgaine, and she considers their bond to be eternal and will remain long after this game of groupies has lost its luster. Although the two are on the same page on many issues, Gaia can’t help but feel a little concerned about what she perceives to be a spiral in her friend’s drug use.
Morgaine is the most dedicated psychonaut of the crew. She loves nothing more than going completely insane, tripping over balls, and riding musical notes into the stratosphere. However, Morgaine is hiding a secret from the rest of the gang, especially Gaia. She and her friends have always operated in pairs, one-on-one groupies, but Morgaine’s motivations are not as simple as finding a fun and sexy way to ensure their rock and roll obsession returns. do not have.
Muse
Mewzu is funny and outspoken, and wears sparkly hot pants and says some harsh words. She is an old friend of Amina’s, but a first for most of the girls. Although her tone is harsh, she has deep empathy for the other girls’ journeys. She remembers what it was like to be taken advantage of and have her heart broken over and over again by these rock stars. She was in the game for a long time before settling down with her current lover Ravana, crossing the line from groupie to girlfriend, but there’s nothing sparkly in her eyes. Unlike the other members, she never haunts the Sunset Strip and instead travels with Ravana throughout Europe and America, and Ravana’s guitar skills were used in various bands even before she met Savage. It was in great demand. She and Ravana shared a heroin habit picked up in London, and when we met, they were still in their honeymoon period and had not yet gotten too out of control.
Muse isn’t afraid to talk about the uncomfortable dynamics, casual abuse, and insensitivity that occur when your life is “with the band.” Her realism can be a bit of a relief when other girls are too bright-eyed.
