Announced at Sunday’s Women of Marvel panel, YA author, Marvel writer, and former Marvel editor Mackenzie Cadenhead has announced that she will be writing her new book DOOM ACADEMY on February 19th next year. Featuring art drawn by Pascal Ferry, this new six-issue tie-in asks the long-awaited question of what will happen to the students of Strange Academy now that Doctor Doom is the new Supreme Sorcerer. I’ll have to answer.

“It was really fun to go through the old Doom stories and pick some random characters that exist in that world and find someone or someone’s child who might have attended Doom Academy,” Cadenhead said. . “And since the school doesn’t exist, we’ve really had to play around with things. Pasqual is having a lot of fun coming up with beautiful locales.”

In addition to this, it has been revealed that DOOM ACADEMY will also feature sequences by artist João Lemos. Mr Cadenhead further explained:

“In this story, Zoe falls into a strange world and her friends must help her escape.” “We brought in another artist to paint this world. Joan Lemos’ research into Eastern European folklore and fairy tales is astonishing.

The official press release can be viewed below.

Starting in February, ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM will overtake the Marvel Universe, with the first of its many tie-in series announced at New York Comic Con’s Women of Marvel panel: DOOM ACADEMY!

Doom Academy is a five-issue limited series written by author Mackenzie Cadenhead (Marvel Mutts) and illustrated by Pasqual Ferry (Doctor Strange) that follows Doctor Strange’s school for young wizards as it is transformed according to Doom’s rules. Masu. The students of Strange Academy were instrumental in Doom’s daring rise to power in the Blood Hunt. And now that Doom has the entire world under his powerful control, his influence on these breakout young Marvel heroes begins in earnest.

Did you think Strange Academy would be the same in a world where Doctor Doom became the Sorcerer Supreme?! No! It’s now Doom Academy! Moved from New Orleans to Latveria, the world’s best magic school has gotten even better (according to some). It’s the start of the second year for the students of Strange Academy, but they know things won’t go as planned.

Announced earlier this week, One World Under Doom is a sweeping status quo change coming to Marvel Comics, the likes of which haven’t been seen since 2008’s Dark Reign. Spun out of Blood Hunt, where Doctor Doom manipulates Doctor Strange into giving him the mantle of the Sorcerer Supreme, One World Under Doom sees Doom use his new powers to conquer the entire world and ultimately See you achieve your goals. This is a shocking and game-changing event that will impact the entire Marvel comics series and lead to the release of tie-in series and one-shots, all of which will bring together an era worthy of the greatest supervillain in comics history. Will form!
