Now for the big announcement! A pre-recorded video featuring The Legend of Zelda manga artist Akira Himeyaka has been released for the first time, in which she talks about the premise of her upcoming manga, which has been in the works for several years under Shogakukan and Viz. That manga is “Kamud”. It’s an action-fantasy story set in a world of half-man, half-beast, where the fate of the world is at stake as an egg hatches and the first humans are born. Will this bring disaster or salvation? After the first announcement, Kamdo’s PV will be played. It gives you a taste of the art style and what you can expect from this manga. Chapter 1 is currently available for free on Viz Manga. New chapters are added on the first and third Thursday of each month.
Next up was the announcement of the anime “Yaiba Samurai Legend” produced by studio Wit, which is based on the manga by Gosho Aoyama, the author of “Detective Conan.” This announcement follows the official trailer for the upcoming anime. No release date has been confirmed at this time.
Finally, as a big announcement, we have released a teaser trailer for the anime “Rooster Fighter”, although the release date has not been confirmed yet. The voice actors for Rooster Fighter have been decided, including Kenta Miyake (My Hero Academia, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders) who will play Cage, and Mariko Honda (Tower of God, Robot Girls). ”) will be displayed. Z) Elizabeth, Shiori Izawa (Chainsaw Man, Made in Abyss) Piyoko. Speaking of Rooster Fighters, there was a short trivia/giveaway break with various rooster-themed trivia in exchange for prizes. We have a short announcement for the Rooster Fighter Fan Art Contest for a chance to have your art featured in the manga and anime.
Bleach Time!! I got the trailer for Part 3 of “BLEACH: Millennium Blood War Arc,” which is currently being distributed on Disney+/Hulu. This section of the Viz panel is dedicated to Bleach, and two special guests will join the panelists on stage. Seiichi Morita, who plays Ichigo Kurasaki, and Noriaki Sugiyama, who plays Uryu Ishida. The two voice actors talked about what they consider to be the first time they’ll be visiting the U.S. on their “Bleach World Tour,” and also told panel attendees that those lucky enough to be on the Bleach panel will be able to watch the episode. It reminded me that the place I was able to do was NYCC. 29. Both veterans feel that NYCC is the highlight of their trip here in the U.S. because they love meeting all the fans and experiencing the energy of the tournament. There will be.
The voice actors briefly hint that while Part 3 of Thousand Years of Blood War is currently streaming, Part 4 is in production, with no predicted release date yet. Then, in one of the highlights of the show, Sugiyama and Ishida used their characters’ voices to say their respective characters’ iconic moves. This technique is Ichigo Kurasaki’s Getsuga Tensho! And Uryu Ishida’s Leaf Dragon! The crowd erupted in cheers and applause, and I got chills hearing it firsthand during the panel.
Another trivia break for prizes, this time related to Bleach, and we segwayed into the final part of the panel with the panel’s third special guest, a little Final Fantasy playing, Elf Art Gremlin, Grave Weaver. Ta.

She is the author of the WEBTOON hit I’m The Grim Reaper, the first volume of which was published by Viz. While appearing on the panel, Graveweaver promoted his comics and even showed off some old Bleach fan comics and fan art from his early days as an artist from many years ago. One of them is a fan comic where the characters Grimmjow and Ulquiorra fight each other.
What follows is a promotional PV for the first volume of the “I’m The Grim Reaper” comic. The last few minutes of the panel are devoted to a live drawing session, where Graveweaver draws line drawings on a pre-made sketch of the main character Scarlett. The artwork will then be auctioned off at the end of the panel before she comes to Hall 1A for autographs.
That’s all that happened on the Viz Media panel. Lots of merchandise, crossovers, new anime, manga reprints, manga debuts, love for Bleach, and her comic Graveweaver that was spotlighted during the panel. (I’m proud of you, Grave!!)
