VAMPIRELLA is approaching a milestone issue #675!

As Vampirella approaches issue #675, Drakulon’s daughter is celebrating another big moment. Dynamite is excited to announce a milestone special release that adds another important chapter to the long-running series from the legendary Christopher Priest. The 700th issue of Vampirella is approaching, so get ready for a great set of variant covers and more!

In the aftermath of the “Dark World” story arc (issues 671-674), Vampirella analyst Doc Charley faces a panel of judges who question his treatment of Vampirella. He has to defend himself against accusations of “enabling” her “vampire fetish,” which is seen as part of a psychological condition. The challenge lies in explaining her complex, supernatural reality to those who don’t know the dark truth behind her life and backstory.

Dr. Charley will reveal a previously unknown chapter of Vampirella’s life while confined in a psychiatric hospital during a 72-hour observation period. During these three intense days, multiple murders occurred, and suspicions arose. The mystery centers around whether Vampirella is involved in the killing or if something more sinister is going on.

In this special milestone issue, the legendary Christopher Priest is joined by acclaimed artist Aaron Felizmenio, while veteran Willy Schubert continues to do the lettering. Our creative team welcomes the new year this January with a horrifying tale of blood and madness like no other.

To mark this important milestone on the road to #700, a team of accomplished artists have come together to pay homage through a stunning variant cover. Leading the way is the long-awaited return of Jenny Frison, who did a number of Nancy A. Collins covers a decade ago and remains a favorite among fans of the character. Since then, she’s only become even more of a superstar, and this may be her best vision for Vampirella! She’s joined by stalwarts Lucio Parrillo, Joseph Michael Linsner, and cosplayer Rachel Hollon. I’m participating. In addition, Elias Chatzoudis will create a special cover for the New Year 2025.
