Yen Press has announced that the latest volume of the Suzumiya Haruhi light novel series, “Suzumiya Haruhi no Theater,” will be digitally released in conjunction with its release in Japan. Suzumiya Haruhi’s Theater, written by Ryu Tanigawa, illustrated by Noiji Ito, and translated by Andrew Cunningham, will be released worldwide on November 29th.

Announced in advance during the magazine’s 20th anniversary in September 2023, this volume features two short stories previously published in Kadokawa’s The Sneaker magazine, as well as an all-new sequel to both stories. Included. This light novel follows the “Fantasy” and “Galaxy” editions that appeared in the first 11 volumes released by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko from 2003 to 2011.
Considered an internet phenomenon and icon, Haruhi Suzumiya has received several manga spin-offs since March 2004. An animated version produced by Kyoto Animation was also released in April 2006 and aired for two seasons until October 2009. The series also inspired a film adaptation called The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, which will be screened on December 14th as part of the Tokorozawa Sakura Town event.
Suzumiya Haruhi Theater will first be released digitally on November 29th, and then in print at an undisclosed date.
