It’s been over a year since Peter Parker and Miles Morales teamed up to develop an epic crossover adventure game for Sony PlayStation 5. Now they’re on their way to PC early next year.
Sony announced today at New York Comic Con that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released on PC on January 30, 2025 on Steam and Epic Games Store. Fans who first heard the news also witnessed a new trailer for the PC remake of the game.
The new release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 comes in two different versions, both packed with extra features and perks for patient PC players. The “Standard Edition” includes the complete game and all updates for PS5, including 14 new suits, “Ultimate Levels,” a new style of symbiote suit, and an action figure mode in Photo Mode. The Digital Deluxe Edition also comes with five exclusive new suits for Peter and Miles each, an Arachnite suit for Peter, an Arachnite suit for Miles, a Shadow Spirit suit, early unlocking of the Web Grabber gadget, and additional items for Photo Mode. Masu.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 features two of the Spider-Verse’s most famous names (sans Stan Lee) in an expanded version of the Big Apple, pitting them against one of the longest lists of villains in a comic-book-based game I will. The two battle bad guys like Kraven, Black Cat, and Scorpion without giving too much away about their appearances. Of course, what many fans were looking forward to seeing was Venom, that bassy, slimy symbiote.
