Marvel Comics announced a new series, Ultimate Wolverine, today at Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel at New York CC. The series is written by Chris Condon and illustrated by Alessandro Cappuccio. Scheduled to debut in January 2025!
“When Will Moss called me and asked me if I wanted to challenge for this title, I jumped at the chance and immediately knew what to do with it,” Condon said. “I’m bringing the essence of storytelling from ‘The Texas Blood’ to the Marvel Universe with Wolverine, looking back and bringing us something new.”
Check out the new costume designs below. It has a distinct red and black appearance and a star mark on its chest.
“You may notice that there is a red star on his costume and you may wonder why,” he continued. “If you look at that mask, he has a muzzle. That’s because he’s wild.”
