TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #6 marks an important and unmissable chapter in the fan-favorite series as our heroes in a half-shell reunite in New York City. But while the four mutant brothers have been scattered around the world, a lot has changed in the Big Apple. The Ninja Turtles are currently being hunted on their home turf, and Ferreira will draw and color an action-packed and emotional script by author Jason Aaron.
For Ferreira, stepping out of the shadows and into the world of TMNT is a childhood dream come true. “I’m so happy and excited to be a TMNT artist on so many different levels. The first one is exciting for the little Juan that lives inside me,” Ferreira recalled. “When I was 11 or 12 years old, I was a big Turtles fan and always drew pictures of them. In fact, when I told one of my best friends that I was going to draw a TMNT comic next, he told me that I One of my first memories of drawing was when he saw me drawing the Turtles, and he said how surprised I was that I was able to draw so accurately. ”
Ferreira went on to share how excited he is to be TMNT’s new artist. “Another level is the opportunity to be a grown-up fan, express my views on TMNT in a full story, and collaborate with one of my all-time favorite writers. It would be a dream come true to collaborate with Jason and create something.” So when Jason told me he was going to write this song, I smiled the biggest smile ever. , now that I’m halfway through the first issue, I’m finding it to be much more satisfying and enjoyable than I expected.
