That’s all. The end of the Street Fighter tournament is here with the final volume of Street Fighter Classic, aptly titled “The Final Round.”
To be honest, I wasn’t as enamored with this finale as I was with other series, mostly because it focuses so much on the actual battle in the grand final of the tournament. be. That said, there are some real surprises here, and while the ultimate winner probably won’t be a shock, at least there are still some unexpected developments before the final panel of this story.
Overall, I think UDON did a really great job of adapting the video game’s mismatched and eccentric cast and sometimes very strange and disjointed backstory into a form where everything works somehow . Sure, a very melodramatic and melodramatic story was needed, but fans of fighting games were unlikely to expect or desire some kind of dense literary adaptation. Street Fighter works because it knows what it is, and it’s unabashed, fun, and knowing about simply translating video games into comics, and that’s even better. .
I may not have enjoyed the final volume of this classic series as much as others, but it gave some characters enough climax in terms of their individual stories while leaving room for further adventures. I’m leaving it.
Street Fighter comics continue to get even more epic and ridiculous, so I can’t wait to catch up!
