Microsoft will expand Xbox Cloud Gaming’s streaming capabilities to support titles not on Xbox Game Pass, The Verge reports. The company has stated numerous times over the past few years that it plans to allow users to stream games from their own libraries, dating back to the announcement of Project xCloud, but this feature has yet to materialize. Now, Microsoft is ready to begin testing among Xbox Insiders in November, with plans to eventually support thousands of games, The Verge reports, according to a source “familiar with Microsoft’s plans.” It is reported by quoting.
Xbox players have long asked for the option to stream their purchased games, not just those available on Xbox Game Pass. If the testing period goes as planned, we’ll likely see more players running this soon. The report comes on the heels of Xbox President Sarah Bond’s announcement Friday that starting next month, Android users will be able to buy and play games in the Xbox app.
