Venmo now has the ability to schedule both payments and requests, a long-desired feature. Using this toolset, users can submit one-time payments and requests, or schedule them to run monthly, weekly, or biweekly.
Users will receive a push notification reminder the day before the payment is to be made in case funds are not available. To do so, if your Venmo account is empty, the platform will withdraw money from your connected bank account. These tools are currently being rolled out.
