The adventures of Cobra Olympus, a young Iranian student who receives a mission in the form of a message from the future, continue. Although Cobra fights dastardly vampires as her alter ego Agent Ta, many of Cobra’s biggest challenges are a combination of exciting, action-packed superhero work and normal daily life as a queer woman in modern society. It comes from finding a balance between

Paying homage to the cheesy comic book style of the Golden Age (circa the 1940s), when I covered the first issue, I found the dialogue and exposition to be a bit on the clunky side. But even though I was totally in tune with that intentional homage style, I found this second issue to be less so. There are also some fun and witty fight scenes and a cast of charming friends that Agent Sa fights with, and aside from the action and heroic deeds, there are some nice, realistic moments with them all. there is. Often a solid background with minimal details.

The art style is also reminiscent of classic comics from the ’40s, and the whole issue is definitely charming and sweet, with a refreshing and nice focus on a variety of underrepresented characters.
