John Dolmayan
This musician is no stranger to the world of comics. Dolmayan owns Torpedo Comic, a chain of comic book stores. This comes from a lifelong love for the industry. As a child, the author would buy new issues of his favorite series and eventually sell back issues in advertisements and at conventions, a side hustle that soon became more lucrative than his traditional job. After joining System of A Down in 1997, his passion continued and expanded to scouring stores around the world for unique and rare treasures. This led to the opening of his store.
Dolmayan’s first title film, Ascensia, is an apocalyptic science fiction thriller set 150 years in the future that explores the question: “How far will human civilization go to achieve immortality?”
Now, he’s added Dead Samurai to the list, and fans are looking forward to working with Jim Lee (President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics) and Art Adams (Fantastic Four, Hulk, Ultimate Comics: , Rocketeer). , Frank Miller (“Sin City,” “Daredevil,” “The Dark Knight Returns”), Frank Cho (“Ultimate Spider-Man,” “Avengers vs. X-Men,” “Hellboy”), and more.
