As Amazon Prime Day approaches, sales are starting to trickle in. The company’s unique smart thermostat is now down to just $56, 30% off. Regular price is a whopping $80, so this is a legitimate bargain. It’s not a record low, but it’s close.
This is a great smart thermostat with a huge amount of features. It’s integrated with Alexa, so you can lie in bed and command it to set the right temperature. If you have dry vocal cords, you can also adjust it via the Alexa app on your phone. App control allows you to change the temperature of your home from a distance, which comes in handy when you get home from work.

This is basically a Honeywell thermostat packed with smart technology from Amazon, so it’s durable, easy to use, and reliable. These smart thermostats are more likely to help you save money on your monthly energy bills, as they allow you to set and adjust schedules, such as when you’re on vacation.
The downside is that this is a real thermostat, so it requires a C-wire connection or a power adapter. Both of these kits are sold separately. A bundle with a C-wire connector is also available for $78.
It lacks some features found in more expensive rivals, such as the Google Nest thermostat. There are no touchscreen controls or motion sensors. However, the voice and app controls more than make up for these omissions.
