Samsung TV Plus offers even more K-dramas with the company’s FAST Live TV app, which comes pre-installed on your TV. More than 4,000 hours of K-dramas, K-thrillers, K-crimes and K-romances from Samsung’s home country of South Korea were added to the ad-supported streaming app on Thursday.
The content comes from a partnership with “Korea’s most acclaimed production companies,” including CJ ENM, NEW ID, and distribution company KT Alpha. Newly added series include Voice 4, Dark Hole, and Doom at Your Service (which would be a great title if it existed). Psychological thriller Beyond Evil is coming soon.
New unscripted programming is also part of the package. These include food entertainment series such as “The Genius Paik” and “Three Meals a Day,” as well as travel shows “House on Wheel” and “Youn’s Kitchen.”
Samsung says it currently has the best library of NEW ID and KT Alpha K-Movies in the US. The award-winning Burning (starring Steven Yeun), Taxi Driver (Song Kang-ho’s work, not De Niro’s), and Assassination (starring Squid Game’s Lee Jung-jae) are currently available on Samsung TV Plus. It is distributed by.
