Spider-Man hasn’t participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in balloon form for over a decade, but he’s back this year! The balloon, based on the art of John Romita Sr., will be revived in part to celebrate Marvel’s 85th anniversary.

Spider-Man quickly became a favorite of parade watchers and fans at other events for more than a decade. After the original balloon was retired, Spidey returned to the parade in 2009 and ran as part of the parade until 2014.
