Jerry Duggan and Danny Kim’s West Coast Avengers will feature Blue Bolt, a former villain seeking redemption!

Regarding the unique role that Blue Bolt plays within the team, Duggan said, “The Avengers have seen a lot of rough customers over the years. Hell, even Deadpool and Wolverine were Avengers at various points. But the Avengers… I’ve never seen a bigger @$!&^% than Blue Bolt. He’s mean, self-centered, and narcissistic, and he’s only joining the West Coast team of Avengers to shorten his sentence. Wait until you find out what you’re in jail for.”

So who is Blue Bolt?

Chad Braxton, aka Blue Bolt, an experienced Marvel henchman with unrefined lightning-based abilities, makes his first appearance in WEST COAST AVENGERS #1 and ends up being loaned to the Avengers through a new prison release program.
