This is what a TV show based on ‘Untitled Goose Game’ might have looked like

Think back to 2019, when many were fascinated by the idea of terrorizing a quaint English village as a noisy goose. Untitled Goose Game was great fun, but it was pretty short and left me wanting more. In an alternate universe, it would have been adapted for TV already. It didn’t work out here, but it serves as an interesting proof-of-concept piece to enjoy.

Game developer House House unveiled a “proof of concept for a fictional Untitled Goose show” on its YouTube channel on Friday. The studio produced the short in collaboration with Playdate maker and Untitled Goose game publisher Panic, and animation company Chromosphere Studio. It’s a great four-minute clip and well worth a watch, showing the geese bullying a journalist and a groundskeeper during TV interviews. The art style is beautiful, the Wallace & Gromit-esque humor is spot on, and the geese are just as nasty as the ones in the game.

Unfortunately, according to House House, the show didn’t catch on and the people involved shelved the idea, but at least we got this very funny video: At the very least, we’re reminded that we should play Thank Goodness You’re Here, published by Panic, which seems equally silly.
