In 2016, prolific comic book writer Bryan Lee O’Malley of Scott Pilgrim fame teamed up with artist Leslie Hung to create Snotgirl. The series follows Lottie Parson, a fashion blogger plagued by her own inner demons. When she realizes that her glamorous public life hides the real Lottie – allergy-prone, friendless – she decides to embark on a journey to change herself.

It’s been over four years since the final issue of the Snotgirl comic series was released. Needless to say, a lot has happened since then, and O’Malley has understandably had his hands full with a variety of projects, including the Scott Pilgrim animated series. Fans will be happy to know: Image has announced that Snotgirl will return in issue #16, kicking off a new story arc in the ongoing series, hitting stores in December.

Check out the full details and preview art below.

Now that fashion influencer Lottie Parsons is officially dating the woman of his dreams, Caroline, what kind of trouble will the pair get into next?

“This comic was aged in a cave for four years until the crystal structure was perfect,” O’Malley said. “The texture will be amazing.”

Hun added simply, “I can finally eat something delicious.”

Snotgirl #16 will be available in comic book stores on Wednesday, December 4th.
