I spent the most damn damn time coming up with a clever intro for this review. Even a month later, I’s debut Tyrant felt he was confusing over 100 margaritas. I certainly could thank creators Ee Zann and Godfarr for the work. Iranian folklore, 300 people, Birdman, and we finished it with a deep Metatextual approach to create what we felt intellectually demanding. And these days, we need it more than ever. But, as I noticed, it proved to be just too demanding. As deep and creative as Tyrant #1 is included, there was strength and stacking that overwhelmed my…

Beloved indie publisher Glacier Bay is working on it again. Their New Manga Slate – Fall 2025 programme will be the final weeks of Kickstarter reservations for five new titles in September: True Blue Never Fades, The Space of Balcony, Box Garden Beetle, The Cursed Body, Baku Chan. The 2025 Fall Program book includes working class love triangles, stories of historically influenced ghosts, and casually psychedelic dream comics. A kind of thing.…

The issue is a perfect “let’s put together a team” story, ending with a spotlight on individual members of the team and gathering together to face a “big bad” at the climax. The team has a good combination of power sets and personality, such as Aloi, a housewife who has the perverted power to turn his body into all elements. She fights her crimes secretly from her husband and children. Flamingo is another…

Image credits: DC With agent John Jones under attack, who is going to protect his family? With the Green Martian falling into his mind, John discovers that the possibilities are endless. Or at least, if they hadn’t decided that the White Martians would cause chaos in the city… This issue ultimately stops the mess, and although it’s still a massive Mindf**k, it’s a much more satisfying action-oriented chapter than the previous numbers. The series was beginning to feel like it was meandering and groaning with meanness, but here it definitely improved. There’s even another MartianVision page to check out. DC…
