Chrysler’s parent company, Stellantis, has issued a recall for 2019 and 2021-2024 model year Ram 1500 pickup trucks due to a software issue in the anti-lock braking system. According to a notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the bug could cause the anti-lock braking system to “disable the electronic stability control system,” increasing the risk of a crash.The recall affects about 1.46 million vehicles worldwide, the majority of which are in the United States, according to Reuters. Meta is making changes to WhatsApp and Messenger to add interoperability with third-party chat apps (in Europe, that is), and the company shared how it’s working in a new post. As per previous reports, Meta started working on enabling third-party chat last year after the European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA) rules came into effect. Under the DMA, industry “gatekeepers,” or the largest companies and platforms, are prohibited from giving preferential treatment to their own services and therefore must ensure interoperability with third parties.The company said it gathered feedback from potential partners and other stakeholders to shape the new experience.…

Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft detached from the ISS at 6:04 pm Eastern Time on September 6 and landed safely and gently at White Sands Spaceport in New Mexico at 12:01 am on September 7. The spacecraft, called Calypso, had no crew on board, even though astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore were on board and headed to the ISS.
