In today’s age there is nothing like a good villain story. This is what Marvel does in Super Villain Saga is bringing to the bad guys directed by writer Mark Guggenheim. The storyline announced in Comics Pro will focus on Marvel Supervillains with seven one-shots dedicated to Doctor Doom, Green Goblin, Abomination, Loki, Red Skull, Dolmanm and Mephisto, respectively. It also adds details about the new villain called Sister Sadness, featured in a backup story about Mephisto. As a compact 6 x 9 book to help new viewers catch up with some of the most prestigious and popular storylines, efforts are being made to become a more accessible entry point for new readers. Marvel continues to be the Spider Girl craze by giving new characters their own solo comic storylines. Written by Torunn Gronbekk in the art of Andrew Risso, The Comic comes straight from Dan Slott and Paco Media’s Spider-Boy pages, kicking off with a new adventure starting in June this year. Superhero comics aren’t as adorable as Jeff the Landshark, the best boy of dog embarrassment pets created by author Kelly Thompson and artist Daniele Di Nikuoro. Thanks to the popularity demand, Marvel Comics has announced that Jeff the Land Shark’s new physical comic is scheduled to debut in June this year. During ComicsPro, Image Comics Imprint Ghost Machine has announced two new series. The first, appropriately, was the first ghost written by Brad Meltzer and Geoff Johns, along with the art of Gene HA. Launched later this year, the newly elected president and his young son soon discovered their new home, the White House, so “more frightening than Cutthroat politicians and red tape.” It marks another addition to the unnamed universe of imprints consisting of Geiger, Junkyard Joe and Redcoat. DC Comics has released their full solicitations for titles set to arrive in stores in May 2025. Among DC‘s offerings for the month are the launch of Dan Slott and Rafael Albuquerque‘s Superman Unlimited; the debut of the Mr. Terrific: Year One miniseries from Al Letson and Valentine De Landro; and the first issue of a new Supergirl ongoing series written and illustrated by Sophie Campbell.
