At New York Comic Con on Saturday, Yen Press announced the acquisition of the board game Monster Eater: Delicious in Dungeon, scheduled for release in May 2026.
Based on the 1998 Monster Maker board game and themed after Ryoko Kui’s award-winning Delicious in Dungeon series, Monster Eater lets players explore dungeons and face off against iconic monsters to earn enough victory points for victory.

Combining the hit manga Delicious in Dungeon with the work of legendary game designer Ginichiro Suzuki, this collaborative game lets you and a party of 2 to 5 of your closest friends explore the depths of a dungeon together in search of fame, fortune, power, and more. However, please be careful. Deadly monsters await. I’m about to eat it.
Monster Eater: Delicious in Dungeon is scheduled to be released in May 2026.
The manga “Delicious in Dungeon”, which was serialized in Enterbrain’s youth manga magazine Haruta from February 2014 to September 2023, is available in English from Yen Press. The American animated version produced by Trigger currently has one season streaming on Netflix, with a second season in the works.
