On Friday at New York Comic-Con, Marvel Comics’ X-Men panel revealed Shadow of Tomorrow, the next era of mutantkind storytelling, including multiple limited series and ongoing series debuting in 2026.

The X-Men panel included Vice Presidents and Editors-in-Chief Nick Lowe and Tom Brevoort, Editor-in-Chief CB Cebulski, and Creators Jed McKay, Ryan Stegman, Ashley Allen, Eve L. Ewing, and Ben Percy. Stefano Caselli’s promotional images for Shadow of Tomorrow gave attendees a preview of what was to come. This art will be used as the cover for a currently unreleased X-Men title.

As part of the Shadow of Tomorrow era, three limited series starring Rogue, Magic and Colossus, and Cyclops will debut in early 2026. Rogue has been announced for five issues, but Magik & Colossus and Cyclops do not have a set number of issues as of this writing. Please note that of these three titles, only Rogue #1 currently has an issue summary.
