At yesterday’s Marvel Fanfare panel, Marvel Editor-in-Chief CB Cebulski was hosting something like a comics panel. It started with Frank Miller talking about his career and led to Charles Soule and Steve McNiven releasing Daredevil: A Cold Day in Hell #1, but Daredevil: Born Again ” completely crashed by people.
Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio and producer Sana Amanat were in attendance. New details about the show have been announced, including that it is for ages 17 and up, will have nine episodes, and season 1 will start on March 4th.
D’Onofrio said of Daredevil and Kingpin, “They are on different paths, but their feelings for each other are strong.” Amanat added that this is actually a story of these characters reflecting on their identities and themselves. Cox also said that Kingpin and Daredevil need to reconcile and work together.
Regarding the tone of the show, D’Onofrio said that while it was “weird” coming out of the darkness for his performance in the Disney+ show Hawkeye, he felt more comfortable performing in Echo because it was darker.
It was also revealed that Vanessa Fisk will be making a return appearance, and Soule’s co-creator Muse will appear on the show.
