DC Comics is pleased to announce Peacemaker Presents, a new five-issue series from Tim Seeley and Mitch Gerads (The Vigilante Story) and Rex Ogle and Matteo Lolli (The Eagly Story), with James Gunn serving as story consultant. : Vigilante/Eagly double feature” was announced. . Set between seasons 1 and 2 of the Max Originals series Peacemaker, this comic along with two characters gives fans and readers a taste of where the popular TV show is headed in 2025.

“When[DC editor]Katie Kubert asked me to write a short story for DC’s Strange Love Adventures, I was excited to write the story of Peacemaker,” said screenwriter Rex Kubert. Ogle said of one half of the Eagly (and Peacemaker) double feature. “So to be able to come back and co-star with this iconic antihero again (and this time in a miniseries!) is a dream come true. One of the things that makes him great is that Peacemaker is fundamentally He is a hopeless optimist. He wants the world to be a better place not only for himself but also for others. He always tries to achieve peace in the right way. It brings an incredible levity to the violence that is already always present in our world, and sometimes we just have to laugh at the bad stuff so we can cry. There is no such thing.”

Those two characters are Eagly and Vigilante! Each storyline picks up where the Max Original show left off…Peacemaker is missing!

“I write a ton of books and graphic novels for middle school and young adult readers, which I love,” Ogle continued. . Writing Christopher Smith allows him to go for some truly wild adventures, with good old-fashioned violence as well as humor and gratuitous nudity. Peacemaker made my dream of writing the stories I wanted to read as a child come true. ”

So what is the story of the vigilante group?

Adrian goes to the Peacemaker’s house to drink beer and blow things up, but finds Chris and Eagly missing. The vigilantes quickly assume they have been kidnapped or worse, and go on a vengeful rampage against the local criminal community.

“I’m in the era of Vigilante,” said artist Mitch Gerads in the double feature half of Vigilante (without Peacemaker). “We have 100 Taylor Swift friendship bracelets to trade. They’re in vigilante colors and say ‘vigilante shit.’ Find me at NYCC and join the fun. ”

So what is Eagly’s story about?

Meanwhile, Chris and Eagly are on a bromantic vacation to Alaska, but Chris completely forgets to ask Adrian to go…or even to tell him that Adrian is missing!

“Disgusting. Clueless. Probably psychotic. Obsessed with destroying furniture. That’s Mitch Gerads,” said author Tim Seeley. “Oh…wait? You mean you want me to describe the vigilante Adrian Chase? Oh, sure. He’s the coolest guy ever and crushes so many chicks. Also… is a great friend and not a serial killer busboy. Peacemaker is lucky to call him “brother” and Mitch and I continue his horrifying and violent adventures in DC Comics. I’m lucky to have it. ”

Today, DC announced a new five-issue comic series, Peacemaker Presents: The Vigilante/Eagly Double-Feature. Creators Tim Seeley and Mitch Gerads (Vigilante story), Rex Ogle and Matteo Lolli (Eagly story) will be in charge, with James Gunn serving as story consultant. Set between seasons 1 and 2 of the Max Original Series Peacemaker, this comic gives fans and readers a taste of where the popular TV show is headed in 2025…Fan Favorite Two characters will appear!

DC’s upcoming Peacemaker Presents: The Vigilante/Eagly double feature! In the comic book series (ages 17+), Peacemaker “stars” in a story of two worlds with his two best friends, Eagly and Vigilante. Each storyline picks up where the Max Original show left off…Peacemaker is missing!

In Eagly’s story, we find out exactly where Christopher was. I was outdoors in Alaska getting some fresh air with my true best friend, the bird Eagly. While traveling in a small plane, they and other passengers are exposed to gas and pass out. When they wake up, they find themselves being chased for sport by a group of dangerous supervillains… it’s far from the peaceful vacation Chris had envisioned! But the hunters find themselves Little do you know, you’ve bitten off more than you can chew…

“When[DC editor]Katie Kubert asked me to write a short story for DC’s Strange Love Adventures, I was excited to write the story of Peacemaker,” said screenwriter Rex Kubert. Artist Matteo Rolli said, “Bringing Peacemaker and Eagly to life in comics is like unleashing chaos and heart on every page.” “Rex was able to portray their funny bond and create the perfect combination of action and humor. It’s obviously fun to draw Peacemaker, but what about drawing a character who doesn’t speak? It’s not easy And what if this character was a bird that nature has given a harsh, angry look to by default? That’s a whole other challenge, and I’m not sure I could pull it off without the right kind of script. Luckily, Rex did a great job, and it’s just plain fun to watch their unpredictable dynamic unfold in this new adventure.”
