Aquaman fans, rejoice! The sea’s greatest hero returns in January 2025 in a standalone series! Written by Jeremy Adams and illustrated by John Timms, this first issue has 48 pages.

So what is Aquaman #1 about?

In the wake of absolute power, Arthur Curry’s power has evolved to powerful new heights, and he is one of the kings ready to use it to deal some serious blows. Giant water monsters emerge from each of the seven seas, and only Aquaman’s water warp abilities can stop them. However, it would be no good if he killed the good king in the process. Join Arthur’s guide, Dagon, on a journey to uncover the secrets of the Blue. But what deadly secret awaits Arthur on his journey? An all-new era from acclaimed creators Jeremy Adams (The Flash, Green Lantern) and John Timms (Action Comics) A cheer goes up for Aquaman.

The first issue will feature variant covers by Christian Ward, Ivan Reis, Brad Walker, Salvador Larroca, and Tula Lotay.

Aquaman’s new abilities revealed by Jeremy Adams at New York CC as he battles giant water-based monster constructs that appear across the Seven Seas while investigating the secrets of “Blue” with Dagon, Aquaman’s guide from his past. That’s why it will be useful.
