Seven years removed from his multi-million bestselling comic YUNGBLUD, Liefeld not only teamed up with some of the most high-profile creator-owned characters, but teamed up with the prolific creator for the first time when he formed YUNGBLUD. He also reunites with Scott Mitchell Rosenberg. Image Comics, April 1992. Rosenberg is CEO of Platinum Studios and manages Youngblood for Rip Media, the facility’s owner.

YUNGBLUD follows Liefeld’s huge success at Marvel, where he created and established Deadpool, Cable, and X-Force as the best-selling characters, and his unique brand of graphic storytelling and Reflecting the dynamic character design. The film broke sales records and became the first non-Marvel, non-DC Comics independent title to top the charts and the first to sell over one million copies. Liefeld is eager to embrace the legacy of the comics, the characters, and the company. They carry such a history. I love Youngblood. These characters are my absolute passion. ”

Rosenberg added, “Rob and I are a great team and I’m as excited about relaunching YUNGBLUD today as I was when we first launched in 1992. This team’s great character is… The original creator has appeared in over 100 million comic publications worldwide, including crossovers with Marvel and other Image comics, as well as in its own Yungblood comics. We are excited to work with Rob Liefeld to bring this work to audiences new and old.”

Rosenberg and Liefeld are collaborating on new YUNGBLUD media and merchandise, starting with an all-new title written and illustrated by Liefeld himself, scheduled to be released by Image Comics in 2025. .

“As our first comic, YUNGBLUD set the tone not only for Image Comics, but also for creator-owned comics. That’s why we couldn’t be more excited to have Rob return to his signature work. ” said Image Comics Publisher and Chief Creative. Officer Eric Stevenson. “Rob’s vision for these characters and this concept was what drew me to Image Comics in the 1990s, so I’m especially excited that the series that started it all is finally returning! ”

Liefeld and Rosenberg promise more details in the coming weeks, but initial plans include a deluxe oversized hardback featuring high-resolution scans of the original art from the first Youngblood series. It is said to include the Young Blood Vault version, which was released in 2008, and a facsimile version of Young Blood #1 to commemorate this.
