Here are some small details that will make your week at Gamerland more exciting. Xbox will be hosting a Third Party Games Showcase on Thursday, October 17th at 1pm ET. The 4K, 60 fps stream will be available on YouTube in English with live subtitles in 16 other languages (Xbox will add subtitles in more languages after the fact). The Xbox Channel includes versions of the show with audio descriptions and American Sign Language (ASL). The British Sign Language version will be available on the Xbox On channel. You can also watch streams in English and ASL on Twitch and LinkedIn.
The Partner Preview stream will run approximately 25 minutes and include more than a dozen trailers from Xbox partners. Check out the upcoming Alan Wake 2 expansion (The Lake House), Like a Dragon: Hawaiian Pirate Yakuza gameplay, and some bosses from Soulslike called Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Xbox is also promising some new games along with release date announcements. As you might expect, many of these titles will be coming to Game Pass in some form.
Xbox is ending the year with a decent selection of first-party games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Still, it’s always nice to see platform holders spotlight games from third-party publishers and developers.
