X-fans, welcome to another amazing version of X-MEN on Monday held at AIPT!

Exversed X-MEN … Did you have an X-MEN series with such an appropriate name? The X title focusing on this intimate, emotional, and cheerful Kitty pride is written by Eve L. Uwing. It is a special thing about Carmen Carnelo draws an illustration. Since it was released in September this year, I was a fan of “Expecifications X-Men”, so I was very impressed that Eve was happy to talk about the series, its inspiration, kitty and cast. Let’s see what Eve is saying.

AIPT: Welcome to the X-Men Monday, Eve! “Expecification X-Men” certainly features an action, but one of my favorite aspects of this series is expanding the story at my own pace. I am confident that readers can immerse themselves in the life of these characters. From the viewpoint of storytelling, where do you get inspired?

Ive L. Uwing: Thank you very much! I have to give a lot of thanks to the editorial team for avoiding this problem. However, I feel that it is necessary for a series where three new characters cast appear. Otherwise, why can you expect to invest in one of them? My storytelling in the “Slowly and Strong Race” category includes Hayao Miyazaki, Linda Barry, Alan Moore, Zora Neil Hurston, Brian K. Varnes, etc. This is to dismantle a specific series that is really attractive to students, that is, hanger games.

AIPT: It’s an interesting approach-Thank you for sharing! From the unique Luluzburn panel to the subtle expressions that reveal a lot of casts, Carmen Carnelo is ideal for “outstanding X-MEN”. I’m an artist. How do you collaborate and write with such a talented person?

Eve: Carmen Carnelo is just amazing. I have been honored to be able to work with many talented artists, but they have demonstrated their own skills. In the case of Carmen, her work has both relaxed comfort and accuracy, which is really praised. If you know the artist and know how far they will do with you, you will learn to give them more room for flexibility. And when they find out that they will do it beyond their limits, it feels great. I even imagined. Her character works are unmatched. And she is fast.

AIPT: She is exceptional. By the way, X-Fan Legacy of X is the most difficult part of writing a team where there are so many characters (some of the readers are well-known, some are brand new characters). I wanted to know.

Eve: The last time I wrote the ensemble cast was when I had an “outload” event at the champion. As you pointed out, this had the advantage of using only established characters. I plan everything, outlaws what the journey of each character will be, and plan on how each flow is established in several issues. I try to come to each character one by one of the big conflicts inside and one of the external conflicts. I think the most difficult part is to continue to satisfy the fans of the legacy character. People always seek more Emma, Bobby and Kitty. I really love and respect it. However, every magazine has a story for decades, and it is only 20 pages, so it is difficult to provide new people a basic story components to new people while giving everyone a sufficient face -to -face time.

AIPT: Yes, in terms of these new characters, X-Fan DIA wanted to know the three new mutants, bronze, aco, and melee processes. When creating these characters, is it intentional to almost reflect the power of the new mutant mentor, or is it just a coincidence?

Eve: I heard from the editorial team that the stage of the story would be Chicago, and I immediately started thinking about what kind of people I knew, became friends, and when I became an educator. Ta. The people I knew and around were not always included in the lineup we already had. This is difficult because there are many mutants. But they all came to me immediately.

At an early stage, I decided to confirm that the power of each mutant was inconsistent in some form of what they wanted. That way, they will always have some unique tension. Bronze wants to be gentle and gentle, but has a very strong power. I want you to see and listen to Melhi, but she is invisible and people can pass through her. Aquo wants a borderline and real relationship, but people simply poured him.

Later, I thought about who would be their natural leader. I wanted to make Tao’s abilities the same as Kitty. By doing so, she needs help and advice, but she hates it. The other two worked in a way by chance, but I think there was a way to find a connection point anywhere as needed. That is part of the reason why they are good leaders. For example, Bobby helps Trista’s physical changes, but for that, the strength of the steel when Emma faces her mental concentration and how Kitty knows how to teach. (Bronze Ness?) Is also required.

AIPT: It’s a perfect continuation to Kitty’s questions. First of all, X-Fan CECE loves your perspective on Kate Pride! It’s only a number, and you are already one of your favorite writers. What was attracted to writing a book focused on pride?

Eve: Thank you, CECE! Kitty spent time in the Kaiy Sea was one of my favorite aspects of the Krakoan era. (That’s why I wrote a short crossover that the champions visited them!) In other words, she’s just wonderful. She is confident, very smart, and has a lot of things in a relatively short life, and she is a leader, but she feels that she is firmly on the ground. My job is to find something that I can sympathize with at the human level among all the characters I write, but Kitty feels like a rare character that I want to drink together.

AIPT: X fans, Ariel, wondered what your favorite Kitty story would be.

Eve: I’m not good at holiday specials, and I like the story that I have to use by weak characters to use anything and fight the intruder (90s Children + Chicago = Home Alone 700 million times. “Uncanny X-MEN #143”, which I have to go to, is basically a combination of home-Alone and aliens, and Kitty is fighting a demon monster that destroys the whole Zavier family. There is one panel with the devil’s profile, which is literally a zenmorf. And the whole house is just destroyed. But I like to see young Kitty uses wisdom to solve problems.

AIPT: I asked X-Fan Kasi. When Kitty is a queer * When do you really realize it? I’m very happy to be able to date Nina. They are like an up -and -coming cute couple. 🙂

Eve: It’s very cute! I also love Carmen’s character design. She is cute. Kitty probably knew, but the forced heterosexuality and the unusual language cannot be used, especially Qianness, which of many women’s relationships we have seen so far. Given the flow of her life as a kind of extended way to summarize what she felt like, she would have been a little reminded. In addition, she had a very strange youth! I think Bobby’s journey gave her a new perspective on things. Anyway, she is now starting a new life, so why not try to try something with a great new person? As you know, I am convinced that things will work well because cute and healthy couples in the manga will always last forever and do nothing bad for them.

Provided by Marvel Comics

AIPT: There is another question from the X fan Ariel (Ariel is perfect!). He wanted to know if Kitty’s close friend, Rachel, Cart, and Orolo could appear in the future.

Eve: I’m sure so! I love all three of these three characters, and I want to see what they bring to Kitty, which is especially isolated. In particular, although it is (emoji of the eyes), it seems that he is currently tying up with various creators. It is necessary to make a final adjustment to see if you can hold an alumni association.

AIPT: Unfortunately! Last but not least, I want to know the reason I decided to introduce the VERATE app into the X-MEN world. Also, do you have anything to do with Sheldon Zenos?

Eve: In 2018, I went to a gorgeous event. There, a free pack of vitamins was given to a welcome gift at the conference center and collected your DNA sample at the conference center and provided custom nutrition and nutrition. Nothing in minerals. People were happy to provide their own DNA to the company he had just heard 45 seconds ago. There is no information about where it goes or what they do using it. I am very interested in the socially acceptable practices of providing our data, especially biometric certification data, to companies that want to make money. Because our bodies are the most personal, intimate and irreplaceable things we have. I want to know what we do, is that a sense of belonging?

Provided by Marvel Comics

On the other hand, Zenos … there is no choice but to look!

AIPT: Finally, since the start of the “From the Ashes” era, the Exceptional X-Men has maintained itself, but in “X-Manhunt” this March, it will crossover over the other X series. 。 What is the possibility of coordinating with your fellow X creators and playing with other creators toys?

Eve: As a manga creator, I feel strongly that it is necessary to create intentional onboarding points for new readers, especially young readers. People will leave if people feel that they have to do their homework to understand the story. It is not good for the media for a long time. So one of the agreements I exchanged with Tom Brevat early was to take on this project at least if the story had the opportunity to become a very self -contained type. This reflects the life of teenage young people. They don’t fully understand the whole picture yet. But believe it will change relatively quickly.

It was a lot of fun in terms of adjusting with other X lighters. We communicate a lot, make a lot of plans, deepen bonds, and chat together. That was not the case with the previous titles. I feel really really fun and very lucky.

AIPT: And I’m very lucky to be able to talk to you about Expecifications X-MEN!

Are you lucky? X-fans, this week’s X-Men MONDAY EXCLUSIVE is written by Eve L. Uwing and containing illustrations and ink, the preview page of the text with characters from February 19, 2025 It is an early page. Carmen Kernello and Nolan Wudaddard colored VC Travis Langham.
