Starting this October, Marvel has been shaking things with Age of Revelation, a bold new event that will jump the timeline in 10 years. In this dystopian world, Doug Ramsey, the heir to the Apocalypse, has now gone through revelation to create a mutant utopia that threatens to consume the whole planet. Heroes such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, and others must navigate planets transformed by Revelation’s growth power.
The story begins with Age of Revelation #0. This is the issue of the Surprise Prelude, which arrived at a hand-picked comic shop this week. The event officially began on October 1st with Age of Revelation: Overture #1, and is a one-shot of writer Jed Mackay and artist Ryan Stegman. From there, the X-Men line evolves completely, with new series dropping throughout the moon.
Don’t miss out on the series announced earlier this week.
Among the latest titles revealed are the ones released on October 22nd:
Walvarin features Wendigo taking on the mantle.
A new telepath team led by Omega Kids and Quentin Queer.
Radioactive Spider-Man records Spidey’s struggle in a world infected with the mystical X-virus.
X-Men: Book of Revelation, a central series by Jed Mackay, delves into the heart of Revelation’s administration.
