Something Wiccan is coming like this! Dark and eerie adventures await the witch’s path as they reconstruct the magic fabrics of Wiccan and Marvel universes. Hulkling was so badly injured it’s up to Wiccan to save the day, but what length is he happy to do?
The book marks 20 years since Billy debuted in Young Avengers #1 in 2005, and about a year after Agatha’s reintroduction into the MCU (played by Joe Lock). Like various Young Avengers series, Billy has found various comics with her husband Teddy, including the 2021 Infinity comic series Hulkling & Wiccan (Josh Trujillo & Jodi Nishijima) and the 2022 Love Unlimited Arc (Trujillo & Tokitorio).
It is also Kennedy’s first Marvel series. Kennedy’s previous projects at the publisher include this year’s Pridemans Special, Malver United. He said, “It’s really thrilling to be able to take Billy in such an unexpected direction, drive him out of his element and introduce the new villain and the amazing allies that fans want to see.
Pereira said, “I’m extremely pleased that my debut was Wiccan’s debut as a solo star. The whole team and I have put in a lot of effort to make it the best! I hope this is the first of many stories.
Wiccan: Witches Road #1 will be released on December 3rd and will be available in variations by Lucas Werneck main covers, Russell Dauterman and Luciano Vecchio. Imperial #3 is currently available and the series will conclude with issue 4 on October 29th. Billy’s parents, Steve Orlando, Lorenzo Tametta & Jacopocamani, The Vision and the Scarlet Witch, will end on September 24th with issue 5.
