This week we’re a sci-fi spy drama that kicks #4 down into new gear. We’re talking about the robot’s arms, murder, and Burt Reynolds, who appears to be playing the beat. Annalize runs alongside his father’s robot. The father’s robot is with the enemy whose father’s consciousness is everywhere. It’s probably not the best situation for a preteen girl to enter, but that’s where there’s a lot of fun.
We’ll beat everyone with us #4 is a step beyond the last issue, adding some juicy conflict and sci-fi oddity. In addition to the fun, the super spy introduced in the opening issue gets some meaty scenes.
This issue begins with a flashback, adding wrinkles to the relationship between the spy and our hero, who is now a robot. They seem to have history, which has a little more impact later in the matter.
That poor sap.

Another reason this problem works is the progression of the plot. Annalize and her robot companion are on the move, with developments involving what’s going on off-panel her arms, making things work well. Author Matthew Rosenberg and artist Stefano Landini seem to know that Analyse and the robots are at work.
Annalize remains an attractive character. She has the villain’s DNA, and she constantly argues and refutes what the robot tells her. I wonder if she’s just a typical preteen or if she’s deep inside. All actions she takes into consideration whether she spins or whether she is human. Judging by her being totally cool in the murder, she seems to be leaning in a certain way.
Speaking of murder, this issue has quick action and great action scenes involving spies. Not only is it intense, but you’ll have two nine-panel pages at the edge of your seat, but a good comedy is infiltrating. There is a comedy that also includes a group of supervillains, which adds a lot to the otherwise serious story.
Seriously, fans should die for the next issue of Cliffhanger. Certainly, you’ve probably seen the release come, but there’s a threat that could overturn the bond of Analyse with the robot.
We’ll defeat everyone with us #4 takes over the series to new and highest heights, blending the keen character work, fast-paced action and sci-fi weirdness with amazing emotional stakes. Matthew Rosenberg and Stefano Landini deepen the mystery of Annalys’ morality and the true nature of her robotics, while balancing the strong between humor and tension. It’s odd, pulpy and just the right amount of hinges.
