Image Comics has announced the addition of Rick Remender’s Giant Generator comic series. Writer Zev Wells and artists Steve Epting and Kalman Andrasovski will join the creative team for the new series, which will be released in 2025, expanding on an already star-studded oeuvre.
“Having the opportunity to curate such a unique comic book series with such talent is a dream come true,” Remender said in the announcement. “The goal of Image’s Giant Generator imprint is to create a series of books in collaboration with the best people in the industry who are given the infrastructure, financial support and time to create the best they can… And one that is 100 percent owned by the creators. We’re thrilled to be able to work with all of these amazing people and show the world the completely unique dream projects that they’ve poured their hearts into.”
At New York Comic Con 2023, Remender announced the following creators for Giant Generator: Daniel Acuña, Andre Lima Araujo, Paul Azaceta, Bengal, Rolando Boschi, Max Fiumara, JG Jones, Francesco Mobili, Brett Parson, Yannick Paquette, and Greg Tocchini. . Epting, Wells, and Andrasofszky will join this talent pool and work alongside Remender and other Giant Generator writers and artists on new series for the imprint.
All Giant Generator authors retain full rights to their 100% owned books. Remender founded the imprint in 2016 and signed a three-year exclusive contract with Image Comics in September 2023.
