Courtesy of Archie Comics, we have an exclusive first look at issue two of Archie Is Mr. Justice, the upcoming four-part series that reimagines Archie Andrews as a superhero. In each issue, a separate creative team explores a different character’s perspective. In issue #2, writer Amanda Deibert, artist Brent Schoonover, colorist Glenn Whitmore, and letterer Jack Morelli reintroduce Veronica Lodge as a superheroine visionary.

New Archie Premium Event Limited Series! Mr. Justice’s heroic deeds are beginning to garner attention, for better or for worse. But when he becomes entangled with Veronica Lodge, the daughter of the man who turned his hometown upside down, he must choose between his head and his heart. Veronica, on the other hand, has some tricks of her own. Looks like Mr. Justice isn’t the only superhero in Riverdale…
In a statement, Deibert said, “Archie Comics was my first love of comics! Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always been fascinated by Veronica in particular. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work on the Mister Justice run. In The Visionary, Mister Justice meets her counterpart…and she decides how she wants to use her newfound powers. I have to.”
Archie is Mr. Justice #2 will be available at comic book stores on January 15th for $4.99 and features a main cover by Reiko Murakami, as well as covers by Jamal Igle and Matt Talbot.
