Marvel Comics has revealed that they’re working on a new cover variant series celebrating the loveable, blue-eyed Thing, with 12 covers in total featuring some of Marvel’s best artists depicting the Thing alongside other heroes.
These original titles will hit stores just before Ryan North and Ivan Coelho’s critically acclaimed new Fantastic Four blockbuster hits theaters early next year, and just before Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated film, The Fantastic Four: The First Step, hits theaters next summer.

NEW YORK, NY — September 12, 2024 — Things are about to get tough for Marvel’s heroes!
This November, select issues of Marvel will feature all-new THE THING! VARIANT COVERS. Drawn by some of the industry’s leading artists, these artworks depict your favorite icons as if they were exposed to cosmic rays and transformed into the Thing from the Fantastic Four. Across 12 covers, scream “It’s Clobberin’ Time” as Phoenix, Captain America, Spider-Boy, Wolverine and more become the new powerhouses of Marvel’s First Family.
