Kicked off with the ultimate invasion, Marvel’s Ultimate Universe Modification has made some of the most exciting comics released by publishers in recent years. Fans fell in love with filming an alternative universe, featuring their favorite heroes spun from the ultimate invasion miniseries. The Beat included several books from the line on both the end of the year list and the best Marvel books of 2024. But all the good things have to end, and in this case it has to be an endgame.
Is the ultimate universe about to explode?
The Ultimate Invasion concluded in 2023, with Howard Stark sealing the maker of his city for two years. Since then, the ultimate book event, built towards the reopening of cities and the return of manufacturers, is probably after spending thousands of years there (times vary in manufacturer cities). One thing to set this view except this ultimate universe for this predecessor is that it is done in real time. It’s hardly for two years. Reed Richards’ most dangerous variant spent plenty of time creating some kind of horrifying plan for his creation.
Typically, what they have revealed so far is images and words. But it’s a rather provocative teaser. Just like the teaser poster for Avengers: Endgame, this teaser for this event has a letter disbanding (instead of A). This can mean all kinds of things. One of the other twists in this ultimate universe is that this is the universe of manufacturer creation. The heroes were fooled from their powers, and the villains became Oliheads. The teaser may be the manufacturer after being locked up for a long time and wants to erase it all and try again. Whatever his plan is, we will find out how the hero can (or may not) stop him when Marvel releases the full announcement later this week (and possibly at San Diego Comic-Con). Keep an eye out for more information on what awaits the ultimate universe.
