Samsung’s CES 2025 theme is “AI for all.” (Samsung)

Samsung is the 800-pound gorilla of CES. CES is a global electronics giant that manufactures mobile devices, televisions, home theater products, and kitchen appliances, just to name a few. CES has traditionally been used to remind the world that your company is a major competitor in all of these areas, while also allowing you to get a glimpse behind the scenes of more cutting-edge technology. .

For example, Samsung’s 2024 CES press conference featured all the usual iterative updates like a new TV, new projector, and new soundbar, but it also showed off some first looks at truly futuristic products. It was done. And while you won’t be able to find clear MicroLED screens at your local Best Buy anytime soon, you can already buy the Music Frame speaker, which was first shown off at CES 2024. But it’s the Ballie robot, a two-time CES veteran, that makes it happen. Our best hope is to see it appear again, but this time a real-world release date would be ideal.

What to expect from the Samsung CES 2025 press conference

Or maybe Barry will be more independent this time around. That would fit better with the “AI for All: Everyday, Everywhere” theme the company announced at its Las Vegas presentation. The South Korean-based giant has already posted weeks’ worth of early CES announcements in its online newsroom, touting AI-enhanced refrigerators and home appliances with built-in screens. But there’s more to it than just AI. Samsung has pre-announced a 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor, and the company has teamed up with Google (!) to offer Eclipsa, a new 3D audio technology that’s clearly aimed at being an alternative. . Compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS.

One thing you probably shouldn’t expect to see in Las Vegas is the Galaxy S25 line of smartphones. Going by recent schedules, Samsung will likely set its announcement for late January, when it will be in the tech news spotlight. (Last year it was held on January 17th and announced on January 11th.)
