Dynamite and Hasbro are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic Transformers franchise with a major Kickstarter campaign that offers fans the chance to acquire a brand new, high-quality trading card set. This special release marks a milestone for Transformers.
Dynamite explains:
The Kickstarter will introduce multiple products for fans of all fanbases and budgets, featuring two trading card series featuring iconic “Generation 1” visions of Transformers characters that have appeared since their debut in 1984. Familiar faces such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream, Ironhide and Soundwave will appear on these cards, plus many more characters from the Autobot and Decepticon factions. For fans seeking the ultimate holy grail for their collection, there will also be ultra-rare bonuses available only on this Kickstarter.
