At Anime Expo, one of the biggest industry events in anime and manga, publisher Tokyopop held a panel to announce new printing and digital licenses for 2026. Here we are excited to share the diverse and notable pieces that will be featured in the New Year, ranging from BL and GL to Romance and Manua.

So, without further ado, here’s an exciting announcement from TOKYOPOPO from Anime Expo!

So deep, it’s already love

Story & Art: Reida Sora Gaki

A heartbroken fangirl meets a shy transfer student who reminds her of her favorite idol. Her quiet high school life takes a dramatic romantic turn when she reveals his secrets.

Ayaka is in love with Hirokoi

Story & Art: Saljean

The two office colleagues fall for each other, but each consider their love to be unrequited love. This popular GL was also adapted for the Live Action series adaptation in July 2024.

Walk your truck

Story & Art: Tatsumi Kifuu

Kizaki Ren kicked out all the caretakers until Maki Rintarou arrived. Ren is bitter and isolated from the accident that paralyzed him, slowly opening up to Maki’s quiet tenacity and warmth. A moving BL drama that will draw readers’ hearts.

A office worker with a passion for cute gel nails, Sahara is suddenly transported to a magical world where nail art determines the power of magic. A fun and original Isekai fantasy.

I picked up a useless prince

Story & Art: Gunjo Kazuki

As much as a cozy slice of life, the fantasy romance gives a unique twist on a common relationship with the prince. A cute, quirky fantasy romance about an exiled, spoiled prince and an inkeeper who takes it to himself to improve him.

In addition to these seven comics, Tokyopop revealed two more exciting licenses: Honkai Impact 3rd: The second eruption from Mihoyo Comics. This will be released in full color.

Located around the corner of 2026, Tokyopop’s upcoming lineup offers something for everyone. looking forward to it!
