As announced during San Diego Comic-Con last July, author Jean Lun Yang and artist Freddie E. Williams II will take over the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles title from IDW on December 13th this year. Just like when publishers resumed their books last year, we can expect some major promotions. As expected, today IDW announced the TMNT blind bag variant cover for this issue. Each will be available for $4.99 and feature art will be available by All-Star comic creators, including Daniel Warren Johnson, Kevin Eastman, David Nakayama and more.

Additionally, it is worth noting that this TMNT blind bag promotion’s Rahzzah variant cover offers the first release of Ujigami, the new TMNT villain who will be debuting.

The deadline for pre-orders for TMNT #13 is October 20th. This is the ultimate chance for comic book readers to tell local cartoon stores who want to pre-order the issues and get blind bags. The blind bag variant is listed at a cover price for just $4.99.
TMNT #13 of Yang and Williams II is the beginning of a new story featuring the first appearance of a mysterious new villain, and will be released on December 10th.
