West Hollywood Monster Team

Writer: Sina Grace
Artist: Bradley Clayton
Flat: Renrios
Letter: Chris Dicky
Designer: Andrare Miller
Publisher: Abrams Comicarts
Publishing date: January 28, 2025

Marvin is planning a perfect night between his best friend Annie and Gizzel, who returned to his hometown of the university (the suburbs of Los Angeles) on the weekend. Look at his favorite drug queen and drag show at Weho Gay Bar. But then Annie brings her new girlfriend named Annie. And the unique drag deebaweb duby is not only lacking energy on the stage, but is rude when Marvin approaches her after her set. More worse, Jock, who put his ex -best friend in their high school, has a date.

Everything said, it’s a bad night for Marvin. When he hits his limit and fights against Annie about her girlfriend, the bar is confused when a huge purple monster destroys the inside and begins to tear people. There is certainly no place in a trivial drama, right? … right?

Frankly, West Hollywood Monster Square Wood reads the remarks of filth. Based on the theme of family, capitalism, corruption, and exploitation, writer Sina Grace asks readers to question whether their entertainment is worthwhile. I am writing a monster story. It is similar to the Z Word of the Linde Kinging Miller, the pride of the company and the strange exploitation, but as a POV character, the colored teenager of the color and the survivors appear to the survivors. I have a more hopeful view of Ka.

Grace has a trick to incorporate a timely pop culture in his work, and the West Hollywood Monster team is no exception. This graphic novel is involved in strangely referred to as a strange image, and the art by Bradley Clayton frequently mentions the famous comic moment without excessive feeling. In many ways, this book feels like a love letter to entertainment, which is a question, and adds another complexity.

Marvin meets multiple personal heroes, none of them meet his expectations. We all know how dangerous it is to put on the pedestal, but it is difficult for those who love to feel uneasy when they are disappointed. What does it mean to love something with a problematic? What does it mean to say no to change your life because there is no value in privacy violation? West Hollywood Monster Squad asks these questions and presents multilayer answers from characters with very different life experience and betting.

This is an end -of -life book, but it’s really interesting and boasts some pure sweetness between the characters. The plot is solid and the pacing is good, but the formation and converted relationship makes the reading a very special feeling. Grace and Clayton’s works are incredibly cohesive, and the lettering by Chris Dicky and Len Rios will absolutely break the spreads of all pages, especially in the final chapter, from the page.

The strange horror has a lot of vitality, and it is no exception that West Hollywood Monster Squid Wood will acquire this genre.

Final review: Purchase
