Comixology Originals will debut a new sci-fi graphic novel later this month from author Matthew Arnold, artist Davide Gianfelice, colorist Luca Salce and letterer Ed Dukeshire.
Outerland introduces modern democracy and war to ancient Greece with a unique mashup of history and speculative fiction. According to the description, “When a young prince living in the ancient Greek world is exiled to prison and prevents the throne from assuming it, he unintentionally discovers a massive global plot in this science fiction fantasy mashup.”

“Outerland is an action-packed, twisted story, a huge surprise, with its core being about the dangers of technology and a longing for a nostalgic past,” says Arnold.
Jean Ferris said, “What if the ancient Greek hoplights act as modern attack rifles? With Matt Arnold, I spent an incredible time bringing this bold concept to life and creating an action-packed story in which ancient history clashes with modern wars in the most thrilling ways.”
Outerland will debut in Comicoology on August 26th.
